It's hard to believe...

It's hard to believe, of all the genius ideas scribbled drunkenly onto Bar-Nap's throughout the years, that this one is actually coming to fruition!
It seemed like just yesterday Lauren and I were at El Chucho in Washington DC saying things like "wouldn't it be cool to.." and "if we could actually..."

Before long our excited conversation materialized as a crude map of the western United States scrawled onto an unfolded Bar Nap.

Today... (make that, in just a few minutes!!) Lauren and I will actualize what started as a passionate,  hardly containable conversation in a bar, as we trek around the western US camping, staying with friends, meeting new people, seeing AMAZING places, and no doubt having a trip of a lifetime!

We're so glad that you've joined us online! The goal is to update the blog on "odd days" but as our access to internet will vary that might change.
